SK Hynix has released its official disclosure regarding payment practices for subcontractors for the period from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, in accordance with Article 13-3 of the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act.
The company reported a total payment amount of 192,524,670 thousand KRW (~$135.8M USD based on 1417 KRW/USD). The vast majority of payments were made via cash and checks, totaling 147,797,668 thousand KRW (~$104.3M USD), representing 76.77% of the total. Win-win payments (Sangsaeng payments) accounted for 22.16% (42,658,995 thousand KRW / ~$30.1M USD), resulting in a total cash-equivalent payment ratio of 100%.
Regarding payment timelines, 92.77% of the total amount (178,605,175 thousand KRW / ~$125.9M USD) was settled within 10 days. While the company has not established a formal dispute resolution body, it manages disputes through the Procurement Compliance Strategy Team via a structured internal review and committee process.
